Premixed Thinset Home Depot. Recommended to bond porcelain, stone, marble, granite and ceramic or porcelain tile up to 8 in. To test if the thinset is still viable to use, test it with your finger.
Back in the days of the early 1900s, tile installers used a procedure known as the “full bed method.” at my local home depot store here in atlanta, only one thinset is rated for walls, and it can get expensive, not to mention prone to failure if you are a first time tiler. I was in a hurry and needed to get my bathroom floor down by xmas so i could get the toilet in, so while at home depot buying some morter i ran across this premixed thinset by tile perfect, it's called spread & set 1. This is my take on it, and i think custom has committed a mortal sin with this thin set stuff. (20 cm x 20 cm). If not, throw it out and start a new batch.
